Terms of service
Effective November 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between Greaseflo ("we", "us") and the business that signs up for Greaseflo ("you", "your shop"). By creating a shop or using the service you agree to them on your business's behalf, and confirm you are authorized to do so.
1. The service
Greaseflo is online shop management software for auto repair and collision businesses. Each shop gets its own address at yourshop.greaseflo.com and its own database. We may improve and change the service over time; we will not remove a core part of it without telling you in advance.
2. Your account and your team
- The person who signs up is the shop's owner and first admin. Admins decide who on your team has access and what they can do.
- Every staff account must use two-factor sign-in. Keep passwords and authenticator devices to yourselves.
- You are responsible for what happens under your shop's accounts, and for telling us promptly if you think one has been misused.
3. Plans, trials and payment
- Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly as shown when you choose them, through our payment processor (Stripe).
- A free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before then.
- You can change plan, update your card or cancel from your shop's billing page. Cancelling stops future charges; the service runs to the end of the period already paid. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails we will retry it and email the owner. If it still cannot be collected, your shop may be closed until it is. Closing a shop does not delete its data.
- Prices may change; we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change applies to you.
- Prices do not include taxes, which are added where required.
4. Your data
- Your shop's records — customers, vehicles, jobs, documents, photos and payments — belong to you. We use them only to provide and support the service, as described in our privacy policy.
- You are responsible for having the right to put that information into Greaseflo, and for how you use it with your own customers, including any consent the law requires before you text or email them.
- If you leave, you can ask for an export of your shop's data within 30 days of cancelling. After that we may delete it.
5. Connected services
Some features use accounts you hold with other companies: card payments through your own merchant account (such as Elavon Converge, Stripe or PayPal) and texting through your own Twilio account. Those companies' terms and fees apply to that use, and they are responsible for their services. US carriers require business texting numbers to be registered (10DLC); texts may not go out until yours is approved.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Greaseflo to break the law, to send messages people have not agreed to receive, to store information you have no right to hold, to try to reach another shop's data, or to disrupt or probe the service. We may suspend a shop that does, after telling you why where we reasonably can.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and your data safe. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free; planned maintenance is done at quiet times where possible. Support is by email through our contact page.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from your billing page. We may end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms. Sections 4, 8 and 10 continue after it ends.
10. General
We may update these terms; we will email the owner of each shop about material changes at least 30 days before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Greaseflo is established, and of the United States. Questions: contact us.
